Do cell phones, internet, and social media truly bring us closer together?
Thirst is just a fact of life. Just like hunger, it comes and goes. When I satisfy the need, it goes away… for a time. This is true now, it was true two thousand years ago and it will be true into the future for as long as people inhabit the earth. So when Jesus spoke about drinking water that will take away your thirst forever, it almost seems impossible to imagine.
I don’t need a lot of faith to see God do the miraculous in my life. All I need is to attempt the impossible.
What amount of money does it take to live?
What have I done today for the poor and the oppressed? Not what have I posted to facebook. Not what have I written or complained about. What have I done?
Men are men and they do whatever needs getting done and they don’t walk around with a hand out. They don’t whine about their lot. And they certainly don’t ever show that they are not able to do it on their own.
