There’s something about a beginning that brings hope. We all want a clean slate. We all want a fresh start, and getting one gives us joy and brings new commitments. We promise to do better and, for a while, we actually believe we can.

When Jesus came to this earth, His choice to be born in Bethlehem was not random. There was no better time and place for the effective rapid dispersion of His name throughout the early world.

The story of redemption beggars belief. It did then and it still does today.
