March 4 – Scars Become Stories
What stories do our scars tell?
What stories do our scars tell?
God, I believe You… except when I don’t.
Doubts will come. There will be times when we will wonder if we are getting through. We will wonder if we are doing or saying or attempting the right thing. Doubts will come about where we shall live, who we shall love, what we shall do.
It is not about what you go without… It is about why.
Two birds. One dies and the other is set free. The death of one purchases the freedom of the other, and the man. In the same way, Christ’s death purchased my freedom.
We try so hard to cover it, to hide it. Still He sees. Still He loves.
Thank God we have evolved.
Nothing would ever be the same when this man walked back into town. Was that a good thing?
Just imagine what the blood sacrifices to the ground. Their sandals. Their clothes. More than once they are being sprinkled or smeared with the stuff… It was a mess, blood was everywhere, covering everything. The ground they stood on… mudblood. That is how they were made holy.
Through the best and the worst that life has thrown at me, I can say with confidence that never once has my Savior left me alone.
