Despite the world hating Christianity and the idea of an all-righteous God, they still integrate the idea of an all-powerful god whether they are aware of it or not. Humans are simply designed to worship God. The idea of a higher being who has everything under control appeals to all. Even atheists indulge in ideas such as the existence of Greek gods, magic, fate and destiny, and other things that are like such. People do anything to deny the existence of God, but no matter what they do, they cannot help but display their need for God.
React:
Though it is highly debated, many scientists believe that all humans have this part of their brain called “the God spot” which is in charge of all their spiritual experiences. I believe that is something that God has given us, it connects us to him. Though we have the free will to believe anything and worship anything (with consequences, of course), he has still created us to be fastened to him. He watches over us at all times, hoping that we will choose the path he has created for us. He knows us best and wants us to choose him over the world.
Respond:
Dear God,
Thank you for creating me to be the way that I am. Thank you for always watching over me. Lord, help me to choose you over the world. Help me to bring honor and glory to your name and to choose your love over superficial pleasure. Channel your holiness through me and use me as someone who pulls others in to be more curious about you. Use me to display your love and power. I pray all these in your name,
Amen.
