Jesus responded, “It is the one to whom I give the bread I dip in the bowl.” And when he had dipped it, he gave it to Judas, son of Simon Iscariot. When Judas had eaten the bread, Satan entered into him. Then Jesus told him, “Hurry and do what you’re going to do.” None of the others at the table knew what Jesus meant. Since Judas was their treasurer, some thought Jesus was telling him to go and pay for the food or to give some money to the poor. So Judas left at once, going out into the night. (John 13:26-30)

Relate: Recently, I have been reading through the Exodus account in my personal time. One thing that always gets me is Pharaoh’s reaction before, during, and after each of the plagues. Moses comes and says, “Let my people go.” Pharaoh says, “No.” Moses says, “OK, then x is going to happen.” X happens. Pharaoh says “I’m sorry. You can go.” X stops. Pharaoh says, “Wait a minute, who all is going?” Moses says, “Everyone and everything.” Pharaoh says, “That’s not going to work. Only Y and Z may go.” Moses says, “Let my people go…” and the cycle goes around. Every time Pharaoh is willing to give up a little more but every time also the stakes are raised. Through the first nine cycles this is repeated. Finally, Moses says to him, “You will never see me again. This is what’s going to happen and you will wish with all your heart that you had let us go sooner.”
Moses was right. Pharaoh and all of Egypt were devastated as the firstborn throughout the land were all dead. Two million Israelites all left Egypt in one days time with all the plunder of the land. Pharaoh never did see Moses’ face again.
React: There comes a point in each person’s life when the opportunities have run out. There is a time when the door is shut. Pharaoh’s time had come. For Judas that moment came during the Passover meal. Satan entered him and Jesus, who had just issued another statement or warning on the matter just moments before now says to him, “Go. Do what you’re gonna do.”
I would step out on a limb and say that for most of us, the point of no return comes at death, but that is not certain for all. I will say that if you are worried that you have passed the point of no return in repenting and surrendering your life to God, then you almost certainly haven’t. Do it now while you still have that chance. Pharaoh was given many warnings before that door was finally shut. Heed your warning. Turn to God now before it is too late.
Respond:
God, I recognize that You are holy and sin cannot stand in Your presence. I am a sinner. I am unworthy to stand before You. But You have made a way for my sins to be forgiven. You have paid the penalty I earned. The way is now open for my to come boldly into Your presence if only I will allow my sin, my pride, my greed, my ambition, my guilt… to be washed in Your blood. I understand that that way will not remain open forever. If I continue to reject and refuse Your grace, eventually my time will run out. So I come to You now. I surrender to You. I ask that Your grace cover me while there is still time. You are a gracious and merciful God, but You are also just. You are holy.

Please pray for me that God will still forgive me once again and i’m not too late or too many times. Oh, i’m terrified and don’t want to go to hell!
Patricia I am praying for you now. Give your heart back to Jesus. Don’t try to figure things out for yourself. Simply ask God to come back into your life and he will. Trust him as a child trust his parents or should trust them. Spend time with Jesus and read his word. God will meet you there and restore your soul and life. You will sing again my sister and have joy in your life. Jesus will do the work for you. Trust.

If you are worried you might be too late, I can pretty much say with confidence that you aren’t. God’s grace is greater than all of our sin. Give it to Him. Give your life to Him. Watch what awesome things He can do with it.
Agree. And I notice that when we spend a lot of time reading the Bible, it’s actually kind of difficult to be falling away on a regular basis. And the reverse is true, when we aren’t reading (feeding on it) daily, or even more often, it becomes easier and easier to be doing our own thing. Sometimes without really even noticing it.
Patricia an interesting point but a couple of verse for you to ponder
(2 Peter 3:8, 9) . . .. 9 Jehovah is not slow concerning his promise, as some people consider slowness, but he is patient with you because he does not desire anyone to be destroyed but desires all to attain to repentance.

Notice this point as well:
(James 4:7, 8) 7 Therefore, subject yourselves to God; but oppose the Devil, and he will flee from you. 8 Draw close to God, and he will draw close to you. . . .
Find out the truth about Hell – learn about immortality and respect Gods word
This last passage is close to my heart
(1 John 3:19-22) 19 By this we will know that we originate with the truth, and we will assure our hearts before him 20 regarding whatever our hearts may condemn us in, because God is greater than our hearts and knows all things. 21 Beloved ones, if our hearts do not condemn us, we have freeness of speech toward God; 22 and whatever we ask we receive from him, because we are observing his commandments and doing what is pleasing in his eyes.
So ask him and listen because he responds to those who genuinely seek him and are ready to draw close.
Thank you so much for the Scriptures you sent. They are uplifting, encouraging and more than that they are the Inspired Word of God! I pray that God bless you with even greater Spiritual insight in Christ Jesus our Lord and Savior.
God loves us all so much. I have a picture of the prodigal son hanging in my office to remind me that no matter how retched or how much I sin Jesus has already paid the price for the sin in my life. All I have to do is accept that forgiveness and listen only to God. Great post reflecting on God’s unending love for all mankind.
