Each time he took another wound, he grew weaker. Every time we fall to sin, it becomes harder to resist the next temptation.
Whether or not Apollyon is Satan in this allegory, he still fights like Satan. And the way we defeat our adversary, whoever that may be, is still the same.
We need to remember that the One who started the fire is also the One keeping it burning
Do you feel like you have been resisting but he isn’t fleeing? That is because there is something else you must do first.
The devil doesn’t get a day.
The devil offers whatever he can to try to get you to follow him and not God.
