O Holy Night!
The stars are brightly shining
It is the night of the dear Savior’s birth!
Long lay the world in sin and error pining
Till he appear’d and the soul felt its worth.
A thrill of hope the weary soul rejoices
For yonder breaks a new and glorious morn!
O Holy Night!
What does Christmas look like in your corner of the world?
Host – Hello ladies and gentlemen. We’re here at Straight Talk with a roundtable of some of the biggest legends of Christmas. To my right, I have Frosty the Snowman and Rudolph the Reindeer. On my left, I am joined by the infamous Grinch and George Bailey, and across from me is none other than Mr. Santa Claus himself. I would like to thank you all for coming and joining us tonight.
There is a sound to Christmas and this is it.
All around the world there are millions of people who for thousands of reasons of poverty, oppression and injustice are crying out for a Savior to come. Two thousand years ago He came incarnated in a little baby. This year He still comes, incarnated in you.
Through the wind and horns, in spite of the hood tight against ears that are growing numb, that bell rings out clear and joyful
World peace begins with a breeze and a baby.
What is your greatest moment in sports history? What is the greatest single instant in your own personal life? What is the greatest moment in the history of time itself? This is it.
Are we joining in with creation in rejoicing that the incarnated Son is on the throne? The Savior reigns. In those three short words is packed so much beautiful theology. Is it in you?
You might be Frozen but I’m not. When you are out shoveling that driveway… again. When the passing car splatters you with icky brown sludge… again. When you can’t find that stinking left hand glove… again. When your car is saying it is too cold to start… again.
Just remember to…
