Walking Through 2020

Someone ate a bat in China, and as a result, everyone in the world had to go to their rooms for three months but that still didn’t stop the spread of a virus with some thirty million cases and nearly one million fatalities and counting. As far as years go… 2020 hasn’t been so hot. 

May 17 – The Son of Man is Enough

The man Jesus had healed had just been grilled by the religious leaders and mocked for his ignorance. His own parents refused to back him up and he most likely had just been kicked out of the synagogue. But this man when being questioned said, “I might not know all about that. All I know is that I once was blind but now I see.”

Jesus is God

May 16 – I AM

My head says “yes” to these I am statements of Jesus, but does my life really back that up? Is Jesus my bread of Life? Or do I look to other sources for my provision? Is he the light through which I see my world? Or is he merely a tack on, an afterthought to my life?
