What do you look for in a potential spouse?
Although the Bible calls Lot a righteous man, he was a failure. Not only did he not even win one friend and neighbor to the Lord, but he also wasn’t even influencing his own family.
This isn’t the love God has called us to live. This is not how He taught us, on a mountainside, to treat our neighbors or even those who declare themselves our enemies. The church claims to be the spiritual seed of Israel, the child of Isaac, the child of Abraham. Are we? Are we living out this heritage?
Be perfect. Those aren’t necessarily healthy words to tell a person who already tends a bit too legalistic. Sometimes I take it too far.
