God does what He is going to do only after we have done all that we can. It is not always the case, but it is true enough to make it a rule and then point out the exceptions.

No matter how great any individual leader may seem, true world changing greatness in a community (or church) can only happen when everyone in that community is on board as an active participant.
It is God’s job to redeem and restore. It is our job to rebuild.

A huge percentage of what we do is transient. It is purposeless. There is no lasting value. Yet these little things are what we spend such a large majority of our time, thought, effort, and money on.
Sometimes stopping to rest is the hardest thing to do.
