There is no one else worthy of our worship. There is no other name in which we put our trust.
Lachish is just a cautionary tale like the Titanic. Being a strong city with high walls didn’t help.
God doesn’t always place us in the best of situations. Sometimes we might completely hate where God has placed us. Even as we pray for God to give us a love for it, we must also pray for endurance. Sometimes, He has us there for a reason and we have no right leaving.

Although the Bible calls Lot a righteous man, he was a failure. Not only did he not even win one friend and neighbor to the Lord, but he also wasn’t even influencing his own family.
Our Bibles tend to be a bit more earthy than our English translations give them credit for.
A person can dress, act talk, walk, and even think however they like. As long as they are not hurting another, they are fine. That does not change their gender… This is not cruel, unfair, or unjust. It simply is.
