If he were judged by our understanding of “good theology”, there could only be one verdict… Jesus was a heretic.
Why do we need to go anywhere at all? Isn’t God everywhere? Can’t we just meet with Him anytime, anywhere?
Each of us has things God has called us to do. Each of us have unique talents and gifts that God can use in unique ways. Each of us are leaders if only we would step out of the boat.
The teacher of the law asked, “Who is my neighbor?” This is a good and very legitimate question. It is one that we each should be asking as well, but I want to flip it for a second. “Who is the Good Samaritan?”
What have I given up for the sake of Christ?
True happiness and joy that are not from the world but from God. It is different and feels so much better than anything else.
Love for others is to “wish the best for people.”
